Big White Ski Resort is located 56 kilometres southeast of Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. It is the second largest resort in British Columbia after Big White-. Big White Village opened in 1980, along with new Big White accomodations including some ski in and ski out places to stay, and a succession of three triple chairlifts, the Village, Olympic, and Black Chairs, that carried skiers from the Village to the Roundhouse in no less than 45 minutes.
The next major addition came in 1986, when the Peak Chair to the summit of Big White Mountain was constructed.
